Peter Sets NEW British Indoor Record

Muckamore Company of Archers held their traditional “Ken McClean Vegas” in February, but this year rather than just Northern Ireland record status, the event was a British Record Status event.
Banbridge archer Peter Mulligan took full advantage of this and broke the British Record in the Gents Barebow by an amazing 46 points. The British record had been 499 and Peter had already beat this before, as the Northern Ireland record stood at 504 but as Peter is shooting on real top form he had his sights on beating the British record and put in a fantastic score of 545 on the day.

He wasn’t alone, 2 other Northern Ireland records where also broken at the event. Georgina Oswald upped the Ladies Compound Record from 544 to 549 and David Gregg put the Under 18 Boys Compound record up from 510 to 526.
